A 1973 graduate of Duluth Cathedral High School, Duluth, Minnesota, I attended Bemidji State University and earned a BS degree in Physical Education with minors in Art and Health and coaching. I was a gymnast at BSU and at the University of North Dakota where I was named MVP in 1978. My husband Scott and I married in 1977. We have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
I have coached and judged gymnastics for over 35 years (USAG National rating), waitressed, sold antiques, designed our personal homes, coached high school track (high jump), volunteered in my children's schools, substitute taught, quilted and did various crafts while my children were growing up. I am currently on our state's NAWGJ (gymnastics judges) governing board, and I am the NCAA Northwest Region gymnnastics judges assigner.
Returning to school briefly in 1993 and in 2006 through 2008, I completed a Web Design certificate at Everett Community College, Everett, WA. Currently I am the webmaster for the USAG Washington web site, for my state gymnastics judging association (NAWGJ WA), and for Allied Construction Associates, Inc. My other web sites are listed on the Web Design link.
